Clinical Commissioning Groups

Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s) are groups of General Practices that work together to plan and design local health services in England. They do this by ‘commissioning’ or buying health and care services with the aim of improving health and health care within our local communities and across the city of Birmingham, based on the best available understanding of the health needs of our population.
